Winter Everest Marathon – a form of extreme sports is an annual event that is held at Mount Everest Base Camp. This special event is open to all Athletes, Runners; Adventure Racers as well as Non-Runners who want to join the trek.

Sign Up Process

Please Sign Up OR download the attached mandatory forms, including Registration, Medical Form, and Payment Form which are to be prepared and sent BEFORE 1ST NOVEMBER 2024.

Please send an email to Info.Guys@WinterEverestMarathon.com with the below Forms to reserve your place. Since only a limited number of runners can take part, preference will be given to those who Sign Up earlier. In this age of technology, you can talk or correspond with the principal organizer at their local location; alternatively, you can book through our coordinators in/near your location/ country.

Note: Please know that signing up only saves you a spot. As places are limited to this event – an amount of USD 500 is required to confirm a place. This amount is non-refundable.

Provide a Medical Certificate from your doctor stating that she or he is healthy, free of injury, and comfortable at high altitudes.

Please Note:

If you do not have PDF Reader you can fill the form on your browser and print, scan and send it through email. Although you can fill in a form while it is displayed within your browser, but you cannot save.

 

If you are physically able to participate in a marathon at these high altitudes and on this type of terrain, you can SIGN UP for this event. You will also need to mail the Health Certificate along with your Application Form.

Payment Procedure

You can make payment by the following methods, no later than November 15th. Any fee charged by your bank, or credit card processing centers, is the applicant’s responsibility.
Once we receive your payment, a Confirmation Letter will be sent by email.

Visa or MasterCard
If you are paying by Visa or MasterCard, you will need to receive a Credit Card payment Form from us.

A 3.7% processing fee for using a credit card. You will need to add this to the trip cost. The form has instructions on where to mail it and what additional information you’ll need to mail with the form.

Bank Draft
We discourage it because there is a History of Losing it or Getting Stolen en route. A Bank draft is a guaranteed form of payment from your bank, like a Cashiers’ Check. The bank draft should be made out to Himalaya Expeditions and mailed to the head office in Kathmandu: Himalaya Expeditions, “NuwakottGhar”, SanepaChowk, Lalitpur – 2, PO Box 105, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Bank Wire Transfer
This is the Safest Method of Payment.

Your bank will need the following information to make a bank wire transfer. Please take note that most banks charge the US $ 10 – 30 each time you use this service.

Once you have sent the payment, please inform us by email. Upon receipt of your payment, we will send you a “Payment Receipt Confirmation” along with our “Service Voucher” that outlines all services you will receive from our side.
