Winter Everest Marathon

With the New Mount Everest Height 8848.86m, from the Government of Nepal, we are going to launch “Winter Everest Marathon” from 2024 allowing the runners to participate running the “New Higher Mount Everest Marathon” to celebrate the new increase of Mount Everest Height after the 2015 Earthquake in Nepal.

Our Winter Everest Marathon is an international high altitude adventure sports event held on December 1st (every 2nd year from 2023) from Mt. Everest Base Camp crisscrossing the high Sherpa trails...

Winter RUN on the 50th Mount Everest Golden Jubilee Celebration TRAIL

Dear Everest Marathon Runners,

Here is the good news, we have come out with a new idea to offer you a New Marathon Sports Event in Mount Everest Highland in the winter season of this year 2023.

Winter Everest Marathon, December 01, (Every 2nd Year from 2023).

Starting off from the high point of Mount Everest Base Camp… approx. 5401m, running through the glaciers & moraines, crisscrossing the Sherpa highland through the Monasteries, Stupas, Hanging Bridges, Rhododendron Forest, the Habitat of Musk Deers, amid the Hospitality of Sherpa Village Mountain Culture People living in the World's Highest National Park, situated in the Lap of Mount Everest Peak itself.

This Winter Everest Marathon also celebrates the first successful ascent of Mount Everest via its South West Face, the Hard Way, in 1975 by 2 British Climbers Dough Scott and Dugal Haston of the first British Team on Southwest Face led by Sir Chris Bonington.
